Home from work, starving, no idea of dinner in sight... need a snack now! Apple - check! Cheese - check! Done, and done.
I am obsessed with this cheese from Cypress Grove called Lamb Chopper that we get at Fairway. It's reasonably priced and outstandingly good. Creamy and firm, it's got just the right amount of tang without being too sharp. It's amazing with fruit, salami, or just on it's own. I love it so much I'm pretty sure I've talked about it before.
Lamb Chopper. Go get it.

I couldn't agree more about this delicious cheese! I've been a fan of Cypress Grove ever since I first tried their Humboldt Fog goat cheese years ago. I discovered Lamb Chopper recently at a local cheese shop. The guy at the counter told me if I like Lamb Chopper I should try Midnight Moon (another aged cheese from Cypress Grove). I couldn't decide which I loved more so I bought both. Midnight Moon with a bit of fig jam is a little bit of heaven. The saltiness of the cheese with the sweet of the fig...it makes my mouth happy!
What a beautiful picture! I'm definitely looking out for that cheese the next time I'm in a store.

And yes, we've tried Midnight Moon too - my husband prefers it to Lamb Chopper, but not me. I'm a devoted fan.

We've been loving this cave-aged goat cheese they have on sale now. Wish it were easier to get to East Village Cheese. Have you checked out their prices?
